Determination!!
AHA!!! I have figured it out!! Now who says I am not determined?
Mi!! This is it !
The ultimate written adventure. Thank you "my precious friend, my most precious friend" for the opportunity to do this with you. As always, you are there.
Very insightful and inspiring! I would like to recommend listening to an artist named Ani DiFranco. Years ago (late nineties and early 21st century) I was introduced to this raw, brutally honest, vibrant, beautiful musician/poet. She sings of the human condition, more specifically of her experience as a woman in a male-dominated world in America. I have learned a great deal from her music which helped form my own ideas and values regarding my position of privilege based solely on a certain piece of anatomy exclusive to males. Most importantly, I learned about freedom and self-determination. Her songs are strong, uplifting, thought-provoking and sometimes may even trigger a downpour of tears. Her earlier stuff spoke of a young woman enterring her womanhood with all the fears and ambitions of a powerful soul ready to chart a course destined for honesty in its purest form. Check it out... I believe that you will like it.
Thanks for sharing yourselves like this. It takes courage to stare oneself down and demand honesty.
